Professor Mac McCorkle argues to The Washington Examiner that Biden’s trip to a semiconductor manufacturer in Durham, North Carolina, was not “buried” by speculations of Trumps imminent indictment. However, he concedes that much of Bidens campaign will be overshadowed by media frenzy around Trump. “If it’s Trump in the general [election], it’s still going to be a referendum on Trump in many respects, so I just don’t know that there’s anything that Biden can do about it,” he said. “And I’m not sure he has to do anything about that.”
