NC Senate District 20 Democratic Candidate Forum

Polis is partnering with The Samuel Dubois Cook Center on Social Equity and Duke Democrats to produce a forum featuring all three candidates for the Democratic nomination for the North Carolina District 20 Senate seat.  The event will include audience Q&A at the end, and will be moderated by Sanford professors Deondra Rose and Asher Hildebrand.

District 20 has a population of over 200,000 people spanning over 140 square miles.  If you live on West Campus and are registered in Durham County, one of these three candidates could become your next state senator.  Bigger picture, in the midst of early voting and only one week before the Primary election, this will be a unique opportunity to listen to how candidates present their cases to the public.
