The Political Student is back for the spring semester, kicking off with an interview with Yash Bajaj ’19. Yash studies Public Policy and International Comparative Studies (Middle East focus) at Duke University and will receive his undergraduate degree in 2019.
He joins the second cohort of Sanford School of Public Policy’s new 4+1 Accelerated MPP Program. Yash is interested in foreign policy and technology policy—and especially how the intersection of the two is becoming increasingly relevant. Throughout college, Yash has been involved with Duke Democrats, NAMI at Duke University, and the Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute. He also spent time working and studying in both Lebanon and Israel.
Listen in to hear how and why Yash engages politically!
