With majors in public policy and biology, Kushal has been deeply involved on and off campus: he served as the executive vice president of Duke Student Government last year, was a chairman of the Duke Honor Council, and interned at the North Carolina governor’s office working on health policy.

Kushal is a 2018 Truman Scholar and a 2019 Rhodes Scholar.
