On April 9th, students gathered for this semester’s et Religio Symposium, which focused on the role of religion in the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. The event featured three guest speakers from Muslim, Jewish, and Christian backgrounds, each bringing expertise in religious leadership, political science, and public policy. Together, they explored how religious rhetoric has been used to justify and escalate violence.Over a shared meal, attendees engaged in respectful conversation across differences, affirming that all perspectives—religious and nonreligious—are welcome at the table.
