POLIS is co-sponsoring an event with the Duke Hindu Students Association to bring State Senator Jay Chaudhuri to campus. Sen. Chaudhuri is the first Indian-American elected to the North Carolina State Senate. Come out to hear him talk about diversity and political action, followed by a Q&A session!
Passionate about an issue? Want to make your voice heard but don’t know how?
The Political Participation Boot Camp equips students with the skills to be active citizens on both sides of the political aisle.
The roughly two-hour boot camp on Sunday, April 2nd from 9:45am – 12:00pm in Sanford 04 will launch students into effective political advocacy through a series of three speakers.
